The Chariot was built in 2013 in Brooklyn, NY. It is a wooden rickshaw that hitches to a bicycle to be pedaled around the city.
I have used the chariot in performance, for transporting goods, for Glyph making excursions, and for many random adventures.
It is a symbol of freedom of expression, as it acts as a stage, a throne, a shop and an exhibition space all in one, liberating "the artist" from the confines of a studio or gallery.
The Chariot delivers the artist directly to the public, unmediated, amplified, and mobile.
